Tyger River Park will offer four interactive, nature-based play areas for education, relaxation and enjoyment for visitors and the community. These innovative play areas represent environmental elements and alternative energy sources.
The park will also feature a passive use meadow where adults and children can enjoy the wonders of nature away from the bustle of the ball fields. Walk the trails, enjoy a picnic lunch, or have an event for your company in the great outdoors (with restrooms located conveniently nearby).
The center of play, Earth gives children an “in the woods” experience. It features a 60’ observation tower with two internal spiral slides and viewing deck. A rope-climbing system, hollow log tunnels, swings and tubes surround the tower.
Make music through interactive chimes, wind spires and cylinders. Children will delight at talk tubes through which they will learn the mysteries of sound and motion.
Brightens the park with a reflecting ball and solar panels which also promote conservation. Children of all ages will discover time through light and shadows of a life size interactive sundial.
Cools visitors after a hot day of play with a splash in the interactive waterfall and fountain choreographed to music. Guests will enjoy shade beneath uniquely designed pergolas with benches and large porch swings.
